Global App Testing (GAT) provides crowdtesting and intelligent automation to help its clients release high quality software.
In March 2021, GAT asked accelerate agency to help them raise their profiles in the US and UK markets through improved SEO.
For the first year the agreed targets were:
- 1,000 new links from high authority domains
- Increase global monthly organic traffic value by 100%
- Increase global monthly organic clicks by 100%

GAT was behind its main competitors in search visibility. Its website had content targeting more keywords than its rivals, but it consistently ranked lower for the most important search results.
What we did
Our first objective was to boost the authority of GAT’s domain by acquiring high authority backlinks in large numbers. The accelerate agency outreach team got to work, immediately launching a targeted outreach campaign to secure content opportunities with relevant publications.
After several weeks of intense work, the outreach efforts paid off. With each new content opportunity, our writers and editors produced high quality thought pieces with links pointing back to GAT’s domain.

In addition to acquiring links through content partnerships, accelerate agency worked closely with the GAT in-house to optimize its website. This included creating 30 new pages of content, and a slimmed down list of targeted keyword, focused on specific top of the funnel and bottom of the funnel terms.
The team also produced in-depth guides containing business critical keywords that propelled GAT ahead of their competitors who were previously dominating on these keywords.
